Preliminary Report Editor (Full-time)

 

Summary/Description:

 

Benchmark is currently looking for an enthusiastic, Preliminary Report Editor, who is flexible to work in the preliminary stage of our quality assurance process. You will be responsible to perform the first stage in our report editing quality control process. You possess excellent command of the English language, in both written and oral forms. You have a strong knowledge of medical terminology, with experience in editing and proof-reading to produce defensible, evidence based, objective and impartial medical reports. You will report to our Manager of Clinical Services and will be required to work out of our Oakville, ON,

 

Qualifications:

  • College Diploma or University Degree
  • Medical terminology course (preferred)
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and with others
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to conduct online research if necessary
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word
  • Transcription skills an asset
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 8.1
